Boquete is a small town in the green mountain highlands of Panama. It lies on the Caldera River, at an altitude of 1,200 m above sea level. The town is a popular resort with a pleasant climate.
Visitors come to Boquete to enjoy the relaxing atmosphere. There are forest trails that you can trek. Tour operators here provide guided trips to the mountains and waterfalls. Horse riding tours are also available.
Visiting Boquete
You can reach Boquete by taking the buses from David. The buses are refurbished school buses. It takes about an hour and costs $1.45 which you pay when you get off the bus.

Plantations Boquete is in a valley rich in agriculture. Among the crops include fine coffee, strawberries, and oranges.
