Bertelsmann Building is a 42-storey skyscraper in Times Square, Midtown Manhattan, New York City. The skyscraper was originally known as 1540 Broadway. It stands at a height of 733 feet (223 meters).
Construction of the Bertelsmann Building began in 1989. Today it houses the North American headquarters of the multimedia media corporation Bertelsmann. Planet Hollywood and Virgin Megastore are also located there.
How to reach the Bertelsmann Building
Take the 7, N, Q, R, S or W train to the Times Square / 42nd Street subway station. Walk north on Broadway until it intersects Seventh Avenue at West 45th Street. Bertelsmann Building is on the right side of Seventh Avenue at West 45th Street.
