Cipriani 42nd Street is a luxury restaurant on East 42nd Street in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It is owned by Cipriani S.A, a Luxembourg-based company that operates luxury restaurants and clubs.
Cipriani 42nd Street was formerly the Bowery Savings Bank (now the Home Savings of America). It is located at 110 E 42nd Street. The building, constructed in 1923, is regarded in the architecture circles as the best work of the best bank architects of the 1920s.

Cipriani 42nd Street was designed in 1923 by the firm of York and Sawyer in the form of a Romanesque basilica. It has a mammoth archway that leads to a vast banking hall, today used as the restaurant.
How to reach Cipriani 42nd Street
Take the 4, 5, 6 or S train to the Grand Central / 42nd Street subway station. Walk east along East 42nd Street and you will see Cipriani 42nd Street on your right. It is next to Chase Bank, and across from Hyatt Hotel.
