Shinbone Alley, Manhattan

Shinbone Alley is a narrow alley in Manhattan. Although it is named and signaged, Shinbone Alley is also gated, and at times locked. It intersects Great Jones Street on the north side and Bond Street on the south side. The name Shinbone Alley is also adopted for the musical by Joe Darion and Mel Brooks. A film b y the same name was also produced in 1971.
