Areca Hotel (GPS: 5.41752, 100.33023) is a boutique hotel in George Town, Penang. It occupies a row of restored prewar townhouses along Khoo Sian Ewe Road.
One of the most adorable sights at Areca Hotel is its mascot teddy bear sitting on the mother-of-pearl chair in the lobby.
Areca Hotel Penang offers three types of rooms namely the 18 square meter Garden Room, the 40 square meter Heritage Room, and the 48 square meter Family Suite.

Areca Hotel Penang has an inhouse dining outlet in the form of Areca Cafe. The cafe serves breakfast to guests in the morning. Walk in guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner available at table d'hôte (set meals) as well as à la carte (individual orders).

Areca Hotel has a function room which can be rented for boardroom meetings. Located above the lobby area, it has a sitting area with period furnishing suitable for discuss discussions. There is a workstation with computer if there is a need to get online. The meeting room is sealed away for privacy. The function room area has an en suite bathroom for convenience of meeting participants.
