Alpe d'Huez is a resort village in the French Alps, in the district of Isère, in the region of Rhône-Alpes, France. It has traditionally been a stage finish for the Tour de France cycling race, except in 2009 and 2010.

Alpe d'Huez is traditional a sports resort, in both summer and winter. During the summer season, the activities here include mountain biking and triathlon while in winter, it becomes a premier skiing destination. The village also hosted the bobsleigh events in the 1968 Winter Olympics.

The nearest major town to Alpe d'Huez is Grenoble. From there, you can take the route N85 until Vizille, then continuing on country road D1091 to reach the village.
