Bad Wildbad is a town in the state of Baden-Württemberg, Germany, near the border with France. Located in the district of Calw, in the administrative region of Karlsruhe, it covers 105.26 sq km (40.64 sq mi) and has a population of 10,500 people (2012 estimate). The town is 425 m (1,394 ft) above sea level.
Bad Wildbad is on the gorge of the river Enz, which flows into the Nectar. It is surrounded by the Black Forest. The presence of mineral springs here has helped it developed into a medicinal spa town.

Visiting Bad Wildbad
You can take a train to Bad Wildbad from Karlsruhe. If going by car, take Autobahn 8 heading east from Karlsruhe to Pforzheim, then continue south on Route 294. At Calmbach, take country route L351 to reach Bad Wildbad.
