Radebeul is a town in the district of Meißen, in the administrative region of Dresden, in Saxony, Germany. It covers 26 sq km (10 sq mi) and has a population of 34,000 people (2012 estmate).

The history of Radebeul is traced to the mention of a village here in 1349. It remained largely insignificant until 1924, when it had grown large enough to be given town status. In 1995 it received the status of major town.

How to go to Radebeul

Radebeul is located to the northwest of Dresden. Take Route S82 from Dresden to reach it.
