The Thessaly Periphery (Θεσσαλία) is one of the thirteen administrative regions in Greece. Located in central Greece, much of Thessaly Periphery is on mainland Greece, but includes some islands in the Aegean Sea.

Thessaly appears in several instances in Greek mythology. It is the site of the Kingdom of Aeolus which was visited by Odysseus in the epic Odyssey by Homer. The Magnesia Peninsula, where Jason and the Argonauts began their search for the Golden Fleece, is in southeastern Thessaly. The Plain of Thessaly was the site of the battle between the Titans and the Olympians.
