Visiting Linköping
You can take a train to Linköping from Stockholm. The journey takes 80 minutes and costs around 95 SEK. There are also flights to the Linköping Airport (LPI) from Stockholm. If you take the plane, you will need to use the taxi to reach downtown Linköping, called Resecentrum, as there are no shuttles between the airport and the city.

Exploring Linköping
The public transport in Linköping is managed by Östgötatrafiken, which runs the bus and trains throughout Östergötland. The buses do not accept cash. You need to get the tickets from vending machines as well as some of the kiosks in the city. Each ticket allows a ride of an hour, inclusive transfers. There are also prepaid stored-value cards which you can top up. These give a discount over the normal fare.
