Wroxham is a small village in Broadland district, in the northeastern part of Norfolk, England. Covering 6.21 sq km (2.4 sq mi), it has a population of just around 1,500 people (2012 estimate). It sits on the southern loop of the River Bure, between Belaugh Broad to the west and Wrozham Broad to the east and southeast.
Located in a region of navigable rivers and lakes known as The Broads, Wroxham is often called the "Capital of the Broads". It is a tourist destination for boating holidays since the late 19th century. The arrival of rail links in 1874 helped to increase visitors to the area.
