World Street Food Congress 2017 Jamboree (31 May, 2017)
The World Street Food Congress 2017 Jamboree is a massive food fiesta that took place in Manila from 31 May until 4 June, 2017. For the people of the Philippines who are not in the food industry, this is the component of the World Street Food Congress that generates the most excitement. It was held at the SM Concert Ground, next to SM Mall of Asia, in Pasay City, Metro Manila.

Stall 1: Evergreen Putu Mayam from Malaysia
Evergreen Putu Mayam sells Putu Mayam, which are string hoppers made of rice flour. This is served with grated coconut and palm sugar. A plate of three pieces is sold for 130 Pesos.

Stalls 4 & 5: N.C.C. Catering from Thailand
N.C.C. Catering from Thailand occupies two stalls at the WSFC17. Stall 4 sells Tub Tim Grob, a tapioca starch dessert with water chestnut balls, syrup, coconut milk and crushed ice, for 180 Pesos; and Khao Niaw Ping, a dessert of sticky rice, banana and taro, for 190 Pesos. Stall 5 sells a set comprising Som Tum, a papaya salad, two sticks of Mooping barbecued pork, with sticky rice, for 220 Pesos.

Pasillo De Humo sells two different items: Fish Tacos, which are fish tempura on a wheat tortilla and garnished with burnt chillis, onions and creamy sauce, for 280 Pesos; and Pork Trotters Black Bean Tostada, which are pickled pork trotters, avocado, radish and black beans, on a corn tostada, for 280 Pesos.

The Coco Kanin stall by Makansutra Hawkers offers Nasi Lemak, which is coconut rice served with crispy dilis, peanut, fried fish, vegetable, cucumber and sambal. There is an option with fried chicken for 270 Pesos and without fried chicken for 220 Pesos.

Bánh Xèo Miếu Nổi sells two items: the namesake Bánh Xèo, which are Vietnamese crispy rice mung bean pancakes with a filling of greens and seafood, and a fish sauce dip, for 280 Pesos, and the Vienamese Banana Sweet Cake, for 180 Pesos.

Stall 13: Thrunks from Davao & Chef Andres Nagion from Bicol, Philippines
This stall is jointly managed by Thrunks from Davao and Chef Andres Nagion from Bicol. It offers three items: Pork Monggo, which is soft stewed pork trotters, manggo (mung beans), eggplant and savoury rice, for 240 Pesos; Bicol Express Risotto, comprising rice, chilli, chicaron, Pork Liempo (grilled pork belly), coconut milk and greens, for 260 Pesos; and Pinangat Burgers, which are Malungay Pandesal, pork Pinangat, taro leaves and slider, for 250 Pesos.

This is another jointly operated stall, between Café Fleur and Taldawa, both from Pampanga. They offer three items: Goat Sinigang, which is goat meat sinigang with squash leaves and wild starfruit, for 230 Pesos; Sisig Paella, which is pan-roasted rice with pork cheek, ear, belly chicharrón with soy lime and chilli, for 230 Pesos; and Kare Kare Palabok, which is rice noodles, Bagnet (crispy pork belly), peanut stew, shrimps, smoked fish and Bagoong (a type of Filipino condiment), for 230 Pesos.

Yet another jointly operated Filipino stall, this one between Fresh Start Organics and Sarsa Group, both from Bacolod. They offer two items: Piaya, which are flour pancakes - one serving of 1 chocolate and 2 moscovado sugar pancakes for 180 Pesos; and Chicken Inasal with Pita Bread, which is BBQ Chicken Inasal with marinade sauce, pita bread and greens, for 250 Pesos.

Stall 16: Rafael's La Cocina Del Sul Stall from Iloilo, Philippines
From Iloilo in the Philippines come Rafael's La Cocina Del Sur, which offers two items at the Jamboree. They are La Paz Batchoy, which is Batchoy Miki noodles with a rich stock, pork, offal and greens, for 200 Pesos; and Beef Tongue Lengua Con Setas De Oliva Gua Bao, which is Beef Tongue in the Kalderetta Style and Kua Bao, for 220 Pesos.

Hailing from Ilocos are Lanie's Batac and Herencia, jointly operating this stall that sells three items: Pinakbet Pizza which is a thin crust pizza with tomatoes, okra (ladies' fingers), sitaw (French beans), cheese, eggplant and ampalaya (bitter gourd) for 260 Pesos; Longganisa & Bagnet Pizza, which is a thin crust pizza with Mozzarella cheese and onions, for 320 Pesos; and Cheese Empanada, which is a crispy pastry with papaya, egg, cheese and minced meat, for 150 Pesos.
