Running in the opposite direction is Zion Road. In between, Kim Seng Walk is a one-way street with traffic from Zion Road to Kim Seng Road while Kim Seng Promenade relay traffic in the other direction.
Kim Seng Road was of course named after Tan Kim Seng, the Malacca-born merchant who relocated to Singapore with his father, the equally renowned Tan Tock Seng. The road passes through Tan Kim Seng's property.
