Once again, Sukkah Coffee House at Olive Tree Hotel is staging a stumptuous Ramadhan Buffet throughout the fasting month. The buffet starts of the first day of Ramadhan and will continue until Hari Raya.
My wife and I had the pleasure of dining here last night, 9 June, 2016. Our host was Olive Tree Hotel's Marketing Communications Manager Jennifer Low. We were warmly received by Eric Cheng, the F&B Manager and Erwan, the restaurant supervisor. I had the opportunity to meet the various members of the restaurant team, including their chefs. After that, we were joined for dinner by Olive Tree Hotel's Director of Sales & Marketing, Adrian Praveen. The hotel has also invited some members from the press, and I met up with a Facebook friend Doris, who is a freelance journalist with The Malay Mail.

What a feast! As you enter the restaurant, you see both sides lined with food counters. There is a soup corner with various types of Malay soup while on the other hand, there's aiskrim potong. In the middle portion of the restaurant are the main food isles. The main dishes are arrayed in two neat rows. Behind it, nearer to where my wife and I would be seated, are the desserts, with various types of cakes and kuihs.
At the counter along the wall are ingredients to make your own pasembur. There's beancurd, wantan, eggs, just take your pick. Across from that is another food isle, with prawns, oysters and crab legs. On the opposite side of that food island, there's various crackers or keropok. Next to that are the pickles or jeruk. And when you think that's all, there's more. All along the far wall is more food. There's the kerabu and the salted items. There are at least three different types of dates, and one of them is simply humongous.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
