Ko Kradan เกาะกระดาน (GPS: 7.31036, 99.2546) is a beautiful holiday island in the Trang archipelago in Southern Thailand. The elongated island covers an area of 2.4 square kilometers. It has a beautiful stretch of white sandy beach on its eastern coast facing the Trang mainland. On this stretch are a few resorts including the Seven Seas Resort Ko Kradan and Kradan Island Resort.
Ko Kradan became famous as the site where underwater weddings. The first "Trang Underwater Wedding" was conducted there in 1996 after it received approval from the then Governor of Trang, Khun Yongyudh Vichaidit, and the then President of the Trang Chamber of Commerce, Khun Surin Tohtubtiang. It became an annual affair, and in 2000, it was inscribed into the Guinness Book of World Records for the largest underwater wedding ceremony ever conducted. Since then, even handicapped couples have taken their vows underwater at Ko Kradan
Ko Kradan is renowned for the crystal clear waters off its coast. Beyond the sandy bottom are some coral reefs. As such, the island is a popular snorkelling destination, with boatloads of tourist visiting it daily.
