Nampula in the northern part of Mozambique is the third largest city in the country. It has a population approaching half a million people (2011 estimate).

Museu Nacional de Etnologia This is one of the best ethnography museums in Mozambique. It has an excellent collection of artifacts showcasing the indigenous culture of the country, with displays of masks and musical instruments.
