Kariba is a town in the province of Mashonaland West on the northern border of Zimbabwe with Zambia. Established on the banks of Lake Kariba, the town today has a population of around 25,000 people (2012 estimate).
Visitors to Kariba will find most of the tourist attractions on or near the lake. Of interest here includes the Kariba Dam and two casinos. There is also a crocodile farm.
