Summerside is a city in Prince County, Prince Edward Island. It covers 28.36 sq km (10.95 sq mi) and has a population of 14,500 people (2012 estimate), making it the second largest city in the province after Charlottetown.

Summerside was incorporated as a town in 1877 and as a city in 1995. Today it is home to a number of businesses. The largest employer is the public sector, in the form of the Canada Revenue Agency, which occupies the Summerside Tax Centre. Businesses operating in the area include Vector Aerospace Engine Services Atlantic, Testori Americas and Honeywell.
