Woodstock is a small town in Carleton County, New Brunswick, Canada. It spans over an area of 13.41 sq km (5.18 sq mi) and has a population of around 5,300 people (2012 estimate).
Woodstock is on the west bank of the Saint John River, at the point where the Meduxnekeag River enters it. The town dates to 1786, when it was established by Loyalist refugees from the American Revolutionary War. It was originally named Woodstock Parish, after Viscount Woodstock, who served briefly as British Prime Minister in 1783.
Woodstock was incorporated as a town in 1856. It is the oldest incorporated town in New Brunswick.

From Maine in the United States, take Interstate 95 heading east until the international border with Canada, then continue on New Brunswick Route 95 to reach Woodstock. The nearest airport is at Fredericton.
