Chile Chico is often called the City of the Sun. This is due to its good weather with plenty of sunshine. The surrounding landscape is breathtaking. Among the scenic sights here include the Catedral de Mármol, or "marble cathedral". These are natural rock formations at General Carrera Lake, a huge lake in the area. The formations appear bluish when seen from the boats.
