Limache is a city in Marga Marga Province, Valparaíso Region, Chile. It covers 293.8 sq km (113.4 sq mi) and has a population of 42,000 people (2012 estimate).
Limache is 43 km (27 mi) to the west of downtown Valparaíso and 103 km (64 mi) northwest of the national capital, Santiago.
Limache has developed agrotourism programs for tourists, with opportunity to go horseback riding in its ranches. It also holds the Feast of the Virgin, or La Fiesta de la Virgen de las 40 Horas. The name refers to the start of the feast, which is 40 hours towards its climax on the last Sunday of February.
