Salto is the second biggest city in Uruguay. it is located in the northwestern part of the country, on the border with Argentina. The Salto Grande Dam separates the two countries, with the Argentine city of Concordia on the other side. Both cities are linked by the Salto Grande Bridge across the water.

Salto is 496 km (308 mi) to the northwest of Montevideo.

Visiting Salto

You can fly to Salto from Montevideo, arriving at the Nueva Hesperides International Airport (STY), which also receives flights from Buenos Aires.
