New Hampshire is a state in the New England region, in northeastern United States. Covering an area of 9,304 sq mi (24,217 sq km), it ranks 46th state in terms of size. The state is 68 miles (110 km) across and 190 miles (305 km) from north to south.

New Hampshire is bordered by Maine to the east, Massachusetts to the south, Vermont to the west and the Canadian province of Quebec to the north.

New Hampshire has a population of 1.3 million people. Its largest city is Manchester while its capital is Concord.

Travel to New Hampshire

By Plane
The main airport serving New Hampshire is the Manchester-Boston Regional Airport (MHT). It receives many flights from low-cost carriers. If you are arriving from overseas, the Logan International Airport in Boston, Massachusetts, provide a wider option.

By Road
Two interstate highways cut through New Hampshire. I-93 runs north-south through Concord and Manchester. I-89 links Burlington in Vermont with Concord.
