28 East 20th Street in the Gramercy neighborhood of Manhattan, New York City, is a historically significant site, because this was where US President Theodore Roosevelt was born on 27 October, 1858. His parents were Theodore Roosevelt Sr (1831-1878) and Martha "Mittie" Bulloch (1835-1884). Roosevelt was the second of four children. The house where he was born has been restored to display memorabilia related him. Visitors to the Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace can trace his whole life, from the toys he most likely played with as a child, to his presidential campaign button, and even his hat.
The Theodore Roosevelt Birthplace is open Tuesdays to Saturdays at 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with guided tours on the hour until 4:00 pm. Entrance fee is US$3.00 per adult.

Hello and thanks for reading this page. My name is Timothy and my hobby is in describing places so that I can share the information with the general public. My website has become the go to site for a lot of people including students, teachers, journalists, etc. whenever they seek information on places, particularly those in Malaysia and Singapore. I have been doing this since 5 January 2003, for over twenty years already. You can read about me at Discover Timothy. By now I have compiled information on thousands of places, mostly in Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore, and I continue to add more almost every day. My goal is to describe every street in every town in Malaysia and Singapore.
