Angsana Teluk Bahang (GPS: 5.46218, 100.21997) is a 5-star resort in Teluk Bahang, Penang. It opened to business on 10 October 2020. The resort of the Banyan Tree Group offers 250 beautifully furnished rooms and suites with intimate details reflecting a Peranakan theme. Every room is graced with carpeting by the critically acclaimed rug designer Omar Khan.
The interior décor of Angsana Teluk Bahang is inspired by the rich Baba Nyonya heritage of Penang. It incorporates the vibrant colours of Nyonya porcelain and the floral and geometric patterns of the Straits Eclectic architecture style, paying tribute to Penang's status as home to a World Heritage destination.

The resort proper comprises two wings - namely the Angsana and the Kerongsang wings - held together by mammoth porch structured from repurposed wood, including old telephone poles. The Angsana wing is the main wing. The cavernous lobby is here, with Chill, the lobby lounge, and the enormous Angsana sculpture over the front desk.

Facilities include the Angsana Spa and Wellness Centre. Owners of units at Angsana Teluk Bahang are given automatic membership to the Banyan Tree Sanctuary Club, giving them access to other Banyan Tree Group's properties elsewhere in the world.

Dining at Angsana Teluk Bahang
On Level 3 of this wing is the facilities level. The resort's main dining outlet, Jendela, is located here, along with the Jubilee pavilion and Jamboree bar. Jendela is the all-day dining outlet. It serves breakfast in the morning, either set or buffet style. The outlet carries a Baba Nyonya theme in keeping with the local Penang culture. An infinity pool spans the length of Jendela.

Function Rooms at Angsana Teluk Bahang
The function rooms of Angsana Teluk Bahang are at Level 1. The Kebaya Ballroom is the main function room here. It can accommodate 300 guests, and can be partitioned into two smaller ballrooms. There are three smaller function rooms with capacity ranging from 10 to 40 persons.
