Anjung Indah is a viewpoint along Jalan Tun Sardon in Balik Pulau, Penang. The name means "beautiful porch" in Malay. Anjung Indah is located on a pass, which is the highest point along Jalan Tun Sardon, as it negotiates the crest of the central range.
At Anjung Indah, motorists can make a stop to enjoy the panoramic view of Balik Pulau. A short walking distance from the parking area takes one to another viewpoint of Bayan Lepas. Anjung Indah has become a popular venue for the annual Balik Pulau Durian Fest. The durian fest is usually held in June, to coincide with George Town Festival.
Getting there
Apart from private transport, you can reach Anjung Indah by taking Rapid Penang bus 502, and ask the driver to drop you there. There is a bus every half an hour or so.
