Aquakids Discovery

Aquakids Discovery is an underwater discovery experience at ESCAPE theme park. This is really a treasure hunt challenge for strong swimmers. It is a pond with a maximum depth of 4 meters. The water is crystal clear. Strewn at the bottom of the pond are the treasures which one has to swim to the bottom to retrieve. Aquakids Discovery tests ones courage, physical endurance, coordination and mental agility.

Safety is paramount at ESCAPE. There is a lifeguard stationed at the pond, and at every water feature of the theme park.

I tried out Aquakids Discovery when I visited ESCAPE recently. I have always enjoyed swimming and diving, so I tried out to see if I could retrieve a treasure. Diving down to the bottom takes a bit of effort. I also have to make sure I have enough air coming up. I managed to grab one of the treasure, and the journey up seems to be quite a distance. I was almost out of breath when I broke the surface, but I did it.

Alas, I was not allowed to keep the "treasure", and so had to throw it back into the pond.
