Opened on 20 September 2007, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur comprises a shopping mall along with a high-rise office, two high-rise condominium blocks and an upcoming hotel block. The shopping mall has a total retail floor area of 1.61 million sq ft (150,000 sq m).
Pavilion Kuala Lumpur occupies the site of the former Bukit Bintang Girls' School, the oldest school in Kuala Lumpur which has since relocated (and changed name to SMK Seri Bintang Utara) to Cheras.
There are about 450 stores at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, including a number of upscale outlets such as Prada, Hugo Boss, Gucci, Salvatore Ferragamo, Burberry and Ermenegildo Zegna. The anchor tenant includes Parkson Department Store, Tangs Department Store, Mercato Supermarket and Golden Screen Cinemas. Other tenants at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur include Harvey Norman, Times Bookshop, Bebe, The BAR°N and others.
By Bus
