Bangunan Arked MARA (GPS: 5.36385, 100.46126) is a commercial building in Bukit Mertajam. Located along Danby Street, the three storey Arked MARA belongs to Majlis Amanah Rakyat or Council of Trust for the People, a government agency under the Ministry of Rural and Regional Development, established in 1966.

Bangunan Arked MARA houses small shops run by Malays. These shops cater to its mostly Malay clientele. There are shops selling clothes, fabrics as well as a number of tailors and other small businesses. The building also houses the regional office of MARA for Seberang Perai Tengah. Next to Bangunan Arked MARA is Medan Selera Jalan Danby.

Getting there

The nearest bus stop is along Jalan Muthu Palaniappan, served by Rapid Penang bus 701, 702, 709, 802. From there walk south to Jalan Arumugam Pillai, then turn right to Jalan Pasar and turn left to Danby Street. Bangunan Arked MARA is about 40 meters from the junction of Jalan Pasar with Danby Street.
