Batu Ferringgi Market (GPS: 5.46732, 100.24883) is a market in
Batu Ferringgi, Penang. Officially known as Kompleks Pasar Awam Batu Ferringgi, it is located on
Jalan Sungai Satu. Built at a cost of RM9million, it includes a multi-purpose hall, badminton courts, a surau and a recycling centre. There is a hawker centre here with 16 hawker stalls, while outside, there is parking space for 74 cars, 44 motorcycles and 29 bicycles.
The project to build the Batu Ferringgi Market started in 2014, and was expected to be completed in 2015, but was delayed in order for rockss to be cleared underneath the project site.
