Ben's Vintage Toy Museum (15 September 2012)


Ben's Vintage Toy Museum (GPS: 5.41455, 100.33649) is a now closed private museum at 55 Acheen Street, Penang. It is within the core zone of the George Town UNESCO World Heritage Site, within the Art Deco-style shophouse to the left of the entrance into the compound of the Acheen Street Mosque.

Ben's Vintage Toy Museum houses a disparate collection of toys and keepsakes ranging from rocketships and robots to toy trucks, boats, trolley cars and wooden horses. Many of these toys were made at the turn of the 20th century. They offer a glimpse at the play things from that era.

Ben's Vintage Toy Museum is open from 10:00 am to 7:00 pm every day, including public holidays, except Friday. Admission fee (as of Sept 2012) is RM10 per adult and RM6 per child aged 2-11.
