Berjaya Green (18 February 2013)
Berjaya Green is a city park in
Pulau Tikus, Penang. It is managed by the Penang Island Municipal Council (MPPP). Planted with leafy trees, it is a place for the people of the surrounding neighbourhood to enjoy some greenery. The park has a children's playground with slides. There are also benches for people to sit on.
Berjaya Green was developed at the time when the residential estate of Taman Berjaya was created in the late 1960s. It is bordered by
Brother James Road,
Berjaya Gate and
Jalan Berjaya. The land was formerly part of the
Ayer Rajah Estate.

Getting there
Berjaya Green is not near any bus stop. The nearest, along Burmah Road, is a good
10 minutes walk away. The stop is served by
Rapid Penang bus
101,
102, 104 and
304.
