Betel Nut Lodge (GPS: 5.41443, 100.33447) is a lodging house on Malay Street in George Town, Penang. Established some time in 2014, Betel Nut Lodge occupies a restored double-storey townhouse which retains the "Nyonya style" appearance. On the front porch is a heavy main door flanked by windows with vertical bars, topped with transoms with glass panels. Above these are the bat-shaped air-vents. The dado area is embellished with decorative tiles. On the floor of the five-foot way are terracotta tiles for heavy usage.
The upper façl;ade comprises a row of wooden louvred shutters above a spandrel with decorative mouldings. Betel Nut Lodge offers a total of only five guest bedrooms. The interior is well furnished and elegant. Guests enjoy free wifi connectivity in all the rooms.
