Beyond Gravity is the rooftop alfresco venue at G Hotel Kelawai. Perched above the 24th floor of the hotel, it is available only for private functions, and offers splendid views of the George Town skyline, with the sea on one side and Penang Hill on the other.

Beyond Gravity is an ideal social arena for alfresco gatherings of friends, family members as well as for company functions. As such, G Hotel Kelawai has created a package just for that. Called Gathering, it offers International Buffet Dinners at Beyond Gravity. Price at RM100nett, it is a suitable venue for birthday parties, anniversary celebrations and any special occasion where you wish to dine with nothing but the sky above you, and George Town spread out below.

The menu of the International Buffet at Beyond Gravity features the salad bar, tapas, appetizer, compound salad, soup, hot dishes and dessert. Among the items in the salad include Iceberg Lettuce, Red Chicory, Lolo Rosso, Tomatoes and various dressings. Among the tapas, there's Springroll, Prawn Tempura, Chicken Boxing, Vegetable Samosa, Potato Curry Puffs and Squid Ring. Hot dishes available include vegetable, potato, pasta, noodle, egg, poultry, fish, prawn, lamb and rice. And to finish off the meal, there will be various desserts, fruits, mango pudding, strawberry mousse, pandan cake and various Nyonya kuih as well as bubur kacang merah or bubur kacang hijau.

The view at Beyond Gravity is particularly spectacular at night, when the city lights up, and the rooftop venue itself is also illuminated with coloured lights.

As Beyond Gravity is exposed to the elements, on days when the weather is not hospitable, guest can continue their function at the 2PM Lounge on the ground floor.
