Menaiki Bas Dari Lapangan Terbang Antarabangsa Pulau Pinang is the cheapest and most convenient way to start your vacation in Penang, especially if you are a budget traveler. As you exit the Arrival Hall into the Arrival concourse area, you will see the road in front of you split into three channels. The one nearest the terminal building is for awaiting Airport White Taxis. Next to it, the middle channel, is for private cars. Furthest away, on the outer channel are for buses and cars entering the car park. The public bus stop is located on that outer channel.
There are four bus routes operating out of the Penang Airport. They are 102 (relaunched on 15 March 2010), 306, 401, 401E and Airport Transit (AT) buses. The frequency of each route is every 45 minutes.
As you board the bus of your choice, inform the driver where you are heading, and he will issue you the ticket. Drop the fare in the box. Make sure you bring small change, as the driver is not able to provide change.
