Kampong Ayer Cultural Centre is a centre at Kampong Ayer in Bandar Seri Begawan, Brunei. Set up at a cost of B$3 million, the centre is one of the latest tourist attractions of Brunei. It was opened to the public in July, 2009.
The Kampong Ayer Cultural Centre is a place to learn about the cultural heritage of Brunei, particularly Kampong Ayer as its waterborne history. The specialities of each village in Brunei is showcased at the centre. There are also displays of Brunei handicrafts, paintings and dances, and documentation on the history of Kampong Ayer which has existed for 600 years.
The centre has an observation tower. From the top, visitors can catch a good view of Bandar Seri Begawan.
