Bukit Gambir Waterfall (3 October 2008)

Bukit Gambir Waterfall (GPS: 5.37358, 100.2945) is a waterfall cascading down the hill behind the Mutiara Indah Apartment in Bukit Gambir, Gelugor. The waterfall is about 25 meters in height and increases in strength during the rainy season. It empties into a pool behind the apartment, which erects a fence to prevent children from approaching it too closely. Nevertheless, the spray from the waterfall keeps the adjacent car park wet.

Getting there

Bukit Gambir Waterfall is located at Changkat Bukit Gambir. The only Rapid Penang bus that comes close to it is 302. Still, if taking the bus, you'd need to walk in from Jalan Yeap Chor Ee to Changkat Bukit Gambir 1 to reach the waterfall.
