Bukit Mertajam Taxi Stand is located in the heart of Bukit Mertajam town. It is at the corner between Jalan Arumugam Pillai and Jalan Pasar. The taxi stand comprises a shelter which acts as a garage for awaiting taxis.

You can take the taxi from there to most parts of Bukit Mertajam as well as even to Penang Island. Price is usually negotiated beforehand. As a guide, the first kilometer is RM4.00 and thereafter it is 87 sen for every subsequent kilometer.
