"Welcome to Bukit Tambun" Mural (29 June 2016)


The village of Bukit Tambun (GPS: 5.27247, 100.45014) in Seberang Perai has embraced street art in a big way. With the leadership of the village headman and the JKKK Bukit Tambun (village leadership committee), Bukit Tambun village is painting itself in rainbow colours. The theme is not specific and is often whimsical, ranging from comicbook characters to famous celebrities. Sharing wall space are the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Bruce Lee, illunionist David Copperfield and Woody (of Toy Story). The murals certainly add colour and gaity to the village.
