Burma Food Paradise (GPS: 5.42352, 100.32129) is a coffee shop along Burmah Road in George Town, Penang. It is at the junction of Mandalay Road, across from Restoran Old Green House. The coffee shop has changed names a couple of times in the past five years. It was previously known as Bali 77 Cafe, and before that, Hong Yeah Cafe.

Our visits to Burma Food Paradise

My wife and I had our dinner at Burma Food Paradise on 10 August, 2018, when we were doing a review stay at nearby 1926 Heritage Hotel. We saw that there is a claypot rice, fish meat bee hoon, chicken rice, laksa, tomyam Thai food, char hor fun, yee foo mee and char koay teow. Quite a number of items looked delicious. I opted for yee foo mee while my wife chose sar hor fun. We also ordered a plate of char koay teow to share.

The sar hor fun and yee foo mee, from the same stall, cost RM6.00 while the char koay teow was RM5.50. All three items were delicious. Not only that, the char koay teow also big portion. Just take a look at the photos below.
