Chapel of St Mary Magdalene (GPS: 5.30175, 100.47742) is a Roman Catholic chapel in Permatang Tinggi. It is a place of worship for the parishioners of the surrounding neighbourhood. The chapel is dedicated to Mary Magdalene and administered by the Church of the Holy Name of Mary.

The Chapel of St Mary Magdalene dates back to early 1954¹, when the first structure was erected. As the number of believers grew, the need for a bigger chapel arose. A fund raising was held among the parishioners, and a new building was erecrted with help from the government. The present chapel was completed on 16 September, 1969, and was blessed by Bishop Gregory Yong. The belfry was added by Father John Hiong, who also undertook some renovations to the building.
