The Charismatic Church of Penang (GPS: 5.31593, 100.286) is a church in Sungai Keluang, Bayan Lepas. The church is located on Jalan Tokong Ular, an unofficial road that is the remnant of the old Bayan Lepas Main Road before realignment to create present-day Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah.

The Charismatic Church of Penang traces its roots to Kong Mui Yee @ Kong Duen-yee, a Hong Kong movie star who became a preacher in the 1960s after leaving show business. Mui Yee established a Christian sect known as the New Testament Church before she passed away in 1966. Through her own interpretation of the Bible, she made herself a prophetess and an Apostle.

The New Testament Church created the Church of Penang. It changed its name to the Charismatic Church of Penang when it broke away from the doctrines established by Kong Mui Yee. A small group continues to call itself the Church of Penang, and also identifies itself as the New Testament Church.

Charismatic Church of Penang is located on Jalan Tokong Ular, the sliproad off Jalan Sultan Azlan Shah. The nearest bus stop is in front of the Snake Temple, about 5-10 minutes walk away. You can take Rapid Penang Bus 102, 305, 306, 401 and 401E to reach it.
