Che Go Korean BBQ Restaurant is a restaurant at AEON Mall Bukit Mertajam. Originally located at AEON Seberang Prai City, the restaurant relocated along with the move by AEON.

I had a chance of trying out this restaurant on my first visit to AEON Mall Bukit Mertajam. Walking around the food court, we couldn't decide on what to have, and finally settled on Che Go. Since there were only the two of us, and we weren't particularly hungry, we ordered à la carte.

I observed that the whole restaurant was managed by guest workers. I do not really mind that, as the restaurant serves non-local food. However, the service is slow and wanting. Furthermore, as it is within the confined of a shopping mall, the ventilation is inadequate, and the smell of the barbecue gets on you, your clothes and hair.

We ordered the Korean-style fried rice and the bibimbap. These were not served with any side dishes (that would cost extra). Yet, the bill is in fact higher than what we would have paid at our local Daorae back on Penang Island.

From the experience attained, it is unlikely that I will patronise this restaurant again any time soon.
