The
Chinese Military History Museum is a museum of the People's Liberation Army of China in
Beijing. It is also called the Military Museum of the Chinese People's Revolution. Located at 9 Fuxing Lu, Haidian, it is unfortunately close to Muxidi, the site where the army gunned down countless civilians during the 1989 democracy demonstration.
The Chinese Military History Museum is a place steep in Communist iconography. You can see paintings of Mao Zedong, as well as Karl Marx, Lenin and Stalin. Also exhibited are out-of-service jet fighters, tanks and surface-to-air missiles. The top floor of the museum documents the many accomplishments of China's military.
How to reach the Chinese Military History Museum
