International Finance Centre is an integrated commercial development on the waterfront at Central, on Hong Kong Island. This massive complex includes two skyscrapers, namely 1 IFC and 2 IFC, a mall, and a 60-storey hotel.
1 IFC, or Tower 1, was completed in December 1998. Its address is 1 Harbour View Street. It has 38 floors and 4 basement floors. Its anchor tenants include Bain & Company, ING Group, Macquarie Group, Moody's, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corp and Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication.
2 IFC, or Tower 2, was completed in 2003. Standing at a height of 1,364.2 feet (415.8 meters) from ground to roof, 2 International Finance Centre is presently the second tallest building in Hong Kong after the International Commerce Centre which has just been completed in Kowloon. It is also the fourth tallest in Greater China, and 8th tallest in the world behind Burj Khalifa, Taipei 101, Shanghai World Financial Center, International Commerce Centre, the two Petronas Twin Towers and Willis Tower.
Among the tenants of 2 IFC are Bank of America, BNP Paribas, Ernst & Young, Hong Kong Monetary Authority, Nomura, SinoPac, Standard Chartered, UBS AG and Warburg Pincus.
Attached to the International Finance Centre complex is the Four Seasons Hotel Hong Kong, completed in October, 2005. It is 60 storeys tall, and measures 206 meters in height. The hotel has 399 guest suites and 513 serviced apartments. It is the largest Four Seasons Hotel in the world, and the only one in Hong Kong.
