The Shanghai Grand Theatre is a huge theatre in Shanghai. It is located at the southern corner of the People's Square, at the opposite end from the Shanghai Urban Planning Exhibition Hall.
The Shanghai Grand Theatre was designed by French architect Jean-Marie Charpentier. Its roof is said to weigh more than the Eiffel Tower. It has a floor area of 11,528 square meters.
How to reach the Shanghai Grand Theatre
Take Line 1 on the Shanghai Metro to the People's Square subway station. Walk across People's Square to reach the theatre.
