Chop Tong Guan Sdn Bhd is a famous wholesaler of fruits in Penang. It was founded a long, long time ago, in 1929. Since then, it has continued to grow and expand, with a presence now in Penang as well as in Selangor. Although the head office is at the Bukit Minyak Industrial Estate, it maintains a branch at Prangin Road on Penang Island.

Although Chop Tong Guan sells mostly wholesale to stalls at the market as well as to supermarkets, it also maintains a small retail operation at the store front. However, to ensure that it doesn't compete with retailers that take stock from it.

Getting there

From the Komtar Bus Terminal, walk along Jalan Ria until you reach the junction with Prangin Road. Cross the road to the other side, turn left and walk along Prangin Road until you reach Chop Tong Gun on your right.
