Experiencing Cititel Penang 2018

My wife and I were thrilled to be invited to a review stay at Cititel Penang on 18-20 May, 2018. The last time we reviewed this hotel was back in January, 2015, when we were treated so well, so we looked forward very much to returning.

I am pleased to say that the hospitality was as good as before. Cititel Penang is one of the hotels that went out of their way to make me feel so at home. I know, I am well aware, that I am getting the VIP treatment, but I have also spoken to a couple of guests of Cititel Penang on Facebook before, and they told me they loved the hospitality here.

For the next three days, Cititel Penang gave me such a nice time. Every meal was covered, and in between my wife and I enjoyed the use of their indoor swimming pool. Adjacent to the pool is also a gym, sauna and steam room, but we didn't use any of these. We just loved the pool, which also has bubble jets.

The food at Cititel Penang was great. We have eaten here many times before, as we have come here for numerous food reviews. I always recommended people to go for their salmon fish head curry.

After our breakfast on the second day, we went on a room and facilities tour. This is customary for all my review stays, as it is central to my purpose in visiting to see all that the hotel has to offer, to photograph and show them on this website.
