Menara Greenview (GPS: 5.38578, 100.29915) is a 25-storey condominium in Island Park, Penang. It was built on freehold land. There are 236 units with standard size from 1056 sqft to 1600 sqft. There are 14 standard units per floor. They are the two 1,050 sqft corner units, two 1,080 sqft units, two 1,087 sqft units, four 1,210 sqft units, two 1,400 sqft units and two 1,600 sqft corner units.

There are also 12 penthouse unit on the top floor.

My opinion of Menara Greenview

Menara Greenview is located on a hill slope. Most of the units enjoy views of the eastern coastline of George Town, from Jelutong to Gelugor. Its location away from the main road means that living here, you are far from the noise of traffic. On the other hand, it is not practical for those who depend on public transport.

Facilities at Menara Greenview

Facilities include 24-hour security, parking lot, swimming pool, general maintenance and landscaped garden.

Location of Menara Greenview

Menara Greenview is 6.0 km to Komtar, 5.5 km to the Penang Bridge and 12.9 km to the Penang International Airport. It is suitable for people working in George Town although its distance from the main road makes it impractical for those who do not have their own transport.

Public Transport at Menara Greenview

Rapid Penang Bus 206 and 304 pass along Green Lane, but is a long distance from the condominium.

Amenities at Menara Greenview

The nearest petrol stations include the BHP at Taman Greenview and Shell at Island Glades. The nearest school is SMJK Chung Hwa Confucian in Island Park and Convent Green Lane. The nearest market is the Greenlane Heights Market. The nearest shopping centres include Gembira Parade and Lotus's Penang.

Traffic situation at Menara Greenview

Traffic along Green Lane is heavy with congestions often building up during rush hours. The road junctions such as Jalan Taman Greenview 1 and Jalan Tembaga often have queues building up at the traffic lights.
