Early 2015: Traffic along Jalan Teluk Kumbar is presently very bad, with congestions forming at the approach to the junction with Jalan Permatang Damar Laut forming almost every day, and for much of the day. However, according to a report in The Star on 6 January 2015, a road improvement project is expected to ease the congestion in the future.
